Community celebrates the closing of the Morada do Sol Social Technical Project in São Luís do Maranhão

On March 13, 2025, the community of Residencial Morada do Sol, in São Luís do Maranhão, celebrated the closing of the Morada do Sol Social Technical Project, an initiative of Caixa Econômica Federal, through the Vitoria Regia Institute (MA), in partnership with the Residents' Association of Residencial and the City Hall of São Luís- MA, the event was full of activities, services and cultural attractions.


The event included a business expo and the provision of several free services. The Entrepreneurs' Desk, promoted by the Development Agency of the Municipality of São Luís, provided services to local entrepreneurs. In addition, residents had access to basic health exams, guidance on registering as low-income individuals, and the possibility of negotiating debts with Equatorial Energia.

The festivities also provided entertainment for the whole family, with the participation of the Municipal Guard band, a theatrical performance by Captain Clean, addressing issues of environmental awareness and education, and a recreational area with games for children. During the event, gifts were distributed to the community and certificates were given to participants in courses in the areas of cleaning, cell phone maintenance, and pet care and grooming.


Representatives of public entities and agencies were present, such as the City of São Luís, through the Department of Social Assistance, the Department of Urban Planning and Housing - SEMURH, the Department of Public Works, the Municipal Department of Supply, Fisheries and Agriculture and the Municipal Agency for Economic and Social Development (AMDES). Representatives of the Municipal Guardianship Council, the social technical team of the Caixa Econômica-São Luís housing management, the team from the Vitória Régia Institute, the president of the Vitória Régia Institute Alex Keuffer and the project coordinator of the Rosevany Valente Institute, in addition to the Residents' Association of Residencial Morada do Sol and other project partners also participated.


The closing of the project was a moment of celebration and recognition, highlighting the progress made by the community throughout the initiative.

The organization thanked everyone who contributed to the success of the event, reinforcing the positive impact of the project on the social and economic development of the community.
