The Sanear Amazônia project advances in the conservation units of the Riozinho do Anfrísio and Iriri Extractive Reserves (PA)

The Vitória Régia Institute (PA), responsible for implementing the Sanear Amazônia Project, coordinated by the Chico Mendes Memorial and the Ministry of Social Development, is advancing in the implementation of 96 social technologies that will benefit communities in the Altamira region (PA).

Between March 9 and 11, the team was at the Riozinho do Anfrísio Extractive Reserve (PA), and from March 11 to 13, at the Iriri Extractive Reserve (PA), where they participated in community assemblies to present the selection criteria for the families to benefit and to clarify the process of implementing the solutions.

The Sanear Amazônia Project seeks to promote sustainable sanitation in extractive communities, ensuring access to technologies that improve quality of life and contribute to environmental preservation in the Amazon region.
