The Turé Community, located in the municipality of Curralinho, in the State of Pará, was the first to receive the Açaí Management workshop, aimed at beneficiaries of the Family Care and Productive Social Inclusion Service (SAFISP), an initiative of the Sanear Amazônia program.

The workshop took place on April 7, 2025, and is an initiative carried out by the Vitória Régia Institute (PA), coordinated by the Chico Mendes Memorial and the Ministry of Social Development.

The workshop offers fundamental knowledge on the sustainable management of açaí, promoting income generation, strengthening local production and social inclusion.

The action has the participation of technicians from SAFISP and the Municipal Secretariat for Sustainable Development, Fisheries and Aquaculture (SEPADES), who have been sharing experiences and good practices with the community's residents.

The initiative represents a significant step towards the sustainable development of the region and the appreciation of Amazonian communities, which play an essential role in the conservation of the forest and its natural resources.
